I use sip every day and really enjoy the simplicity mixed with funcanality but I have one gripe. I have a retina macbook pro and would love support for the georgous display.

great tool, fast and all sort of output for your precise use.
can’t recommend it enough. takes care of business.
Generally works pretty well, but Id prefer an option where I can more easily select a point on the screen without having to hunt for it behind the magnifier. Perhaps a separate window that displays colour info for the pixel immediately beneath the mouse pointer would be a good option.
Absolutely AMAZING app for a seamstress. I love to dye materials and this app makes it a breeze to create digital swatches at home :)
Does exactly what I need, perfectly.
Nicely done. Incredebly usefull tool. Thank you!
Perfect
This is a really good app. I do notice some strangeness when trying to use it with Photoshop. Other than that it’s great.
Works for me.
Does it exactly what it says to do and does it well!
If you’re picking colors from anything to paste them anywhere and need them to be in almost any of the available formats under the sun: use this tool. Actually I retract “under the sun” — it that it may support formats used on Hubble, I wouldn’t know.
How did I not know about this app before now? Very simple and does the trick for capturing all those colour hex values you discover in your travels.
Great tool. It has quickly replaced the other application I was using before. Sharing a colour palette is better on iOS as you can include an HTML table with the colours in your email. This feature should be mirrored on the desktop application. No client of mine will be able to view .sap file. There is a weird bug when attempting to capture colours in Photoshop when other applications are running. The app toggles back to background applications. Very strange.
This app is incredibly good! I would recommend it to any designer!
Its a great app, but it commandeered a couple of keyboard shortcuts that would launch photoshop and illustrator. It was driving me nuts because I had these shortcuts assigned to other apps and it took some major dtrace dumping to solve the issue. Please DISABLE ILLUSTRATOR AND PHOTOSHOP SHORTCUTS BY DEFAULT! The developers have totally ignored my twitter message concerning this. This app is unusable unless you have photoshop and illustrator running the whole time or unless you don’t mind this app starting them for you whenever you happen to hit its universal keys. Apple should not be approving an app that takes over shortcut keys globally without the user’s consent.
I just installed this app, and I think I like it better than the old color picker I was using. The instant-copy-to-clipboard-in-the-preferred-format is a huge timesaver. Not sure I need any of the Pro features … although the ability to “edit” the chosen colour could come in handy.
That would be better if it didnt phone home. Please consider a preference to turn off diagnostic usage. Or better yet, make it opt-in rather than opt-out. It would be a good way to build trust with your users
Hi, I just updated to the latest and it killed all my saved palettes, Then I tried restoring Pro, and Im still trying with no success. what the ????
The free version can only keep an history of colors, ALL the other options are in the Pro version. You cant create and save palettes, etc… But, it is a very well done app.
